In response to the rising cases of coronavirus COVID-19 due to the delta variant, Roc Nation announced updated safety policies for the upcoming Made in America Festival. The two-day music festival will return to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for the 10th year this Labor Day Weekend, Saturday-Sunday, September 4-5. The City of Philadelphia announced that starting Thursday, 8/12, masks will be required for everyone at non-seated outdoor gatherings of 1,000 more regardless of vaccination status. This means all attendees at Made in America will have to wear a mask. Also, MIA will require proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result in the past 48-hours upon entry to the festival. Made in America 2021 will feature Justin Bieber, Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, and more.

Statement from Made in America:
"The Made In America festival will implement all CDC and local public health mandates and guidelines. In accordance with current guidance, proof of a negative COVID-19 test result or printed proof of full COVID-19 vaccination must be presented at entry. The negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 48 hours of attending the Made In America festival. In addition, as mandated by the City of Philadelphia, all attendees on festival grounds will be required to wear masks. If you have questions about COVID-19 vaccines or to find a vaccination location near you, please visit www.vaccinefinder.org.
We will continue to work closely with local city officials. The safety and health of festival attendees and staff are always our first priority."
The Philadelphia Eagles say that all guests and staff will be required to wear a mask when visiting indoor spaces at Lincoln Financial Field. The first preseason game is Thursday, August 12 vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. The City of Philadelphia's new mask mandate only applies to large outdoor crowds that are not seated. Fans do not have to wear a mask outdoors in seating areas, but those who are not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear one. Indoor areas include Club Lounges (Axalta Club, 52 Club, FOX Bet Lounge, Firstrust Bank Club, Tork Club, Hyundai Club), Club Lobbies, and Eagles Indoor Pro Shops (Main, Sections 107, 113 and 125). They do not include the main concourses and suites with open windows.
Guests and staff at Philadelphia Phillies home games at Citizens Bank Park do not have have to wear masks when in outdoor areas such as the seating areas and concourses, but have to wear masks when indoors.
