A Pennsylvania man was arrested for attempting to buy human remains that were stolen by an Arkansas woman. He then planned to sell them online. 40-year-old Jeremy Lee Pauley of Enola, Cumberland County, is charged with abuse of a corpse, receiving stolen property, and other offenses. Pauley sells medical "oddities" including human body parts and bones through his Facebook page called "The Grand Wunderkammer." Pennsylvania State Police say that a Northeast Pennsylvania man has been arrested after he drove into a crowd of people at a fundraiser before returning home and killing his mother. 24-year-old Adrian Oswaldo Sura Reyes of Nescopeck is charged with two counts of criminal homicide. Several people were injured when a tree fell on a group of people having a picnic in West Fairmount Park on Sunday afternoon, 8/7. It happened around 12:20 p.m. on the 5300 block of N. U.S. women's basketball star Brittney Griner was convicted of smuggling drugs into Russia and was sentenced to 9 years in prison and fined $16,700. Griner was arrested on February 17 at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport when she arrived in the country. Officials found vape cartridges with 0.7 grams of cannabis oil in her luggage. The cause of death is listed as an anoxic brain injury due to asphyxiation by constriction and the manner of death was deemed accidental.
