| The Philadelphia Eagles have released wide receiver Josh Huff two days after his arrest. He was pulled over for speeding on the Walt Whitman Bridge around 11 a.m. Tuesday. He was caught with a 9mm gun, a magazine with hollow point bullets and less that 50 g of marijuana. Yesterday, Coach Doug Pederson said they would wait and see before any discipline would be handled. The Philadelphia Eagles have traded starting quarterback Sam Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings for a first-round pick in 2017 and an additional pick in 2018. Bradford was acquired by the Eagles in a trade two years ago that sent Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams.

The Philadelphia Soul led the Arizona Rattlers wire-to-wire in the Arena Football League championship game on Friday night beating the home team 56-42 at Gila River Arena. Philly jumped out to the early 21-0 lead in the first quarter and held the odds-on favorites at bay for the rest of the game. The Rattlers may have had the league MVP Nick Davila and coach of the year Kevin Guy, but they were no match for Philly's QB Dan Raudabaugh and a stifling defense that created turnovers.
