Philadelphia City Councilmember Katherine Gilmore Richardson introduced a new bill that would changed the city's curfew for minors to help stave off youth violence. Currently, the curfew for minors aged 13 and under is 9:30 p.m. and aged 14-15 is 10 p.m. Those aged 16-17 is currently Midnight. Suspect Sought in South Street Shooting; Tree Falls Kills Motorist; DE House Fails to Override Veto

Authorities are asking the public's help in finding a fourth suspect in the mass shooting on South Street last weekend. They have released video surveillance (see below). He is described as a tall and heavy set Black teen with light to medium complexion and bushy hair. He was last seen wearing a COVID style mask and a black hooded shirt with distinctive markings. Philadelphia Police have one teenager in custody in relation to the mass shooting on South Street on Saturday night, 6/4, in the Queen Village section. A mass shooting incident rocked South Street in the Queen Village section of Philadelphia late Saturday night, 6/4. Three people were killed and 11 more were injured when shots rang out following some sort of confrontation. It happened around 11 a.m. May 19 on the 800 block of Charleston Greene. The search for a missing swimmer in Wildwood, Cape May County, was suspended on Wednesday evening, 6/1, after he had gone missing on Tuesday, 5/31. Four swimmers got into trouble about 200 yards off the beach on Tuesday, 5/21, around 4 p.m. on the East Andrews Avenue beach. Local authorities, the NJ State Police Marine Unit, and the U.S. Coast Guard arrived at the scene. One of the swimmers was able to return to shore on their own. Two other men were rescued. Five people have been killed and two injured after a home exploded in Pottstown, Montgomery County, on Thursday night, 5/26. It happened around 8 p.m. in the area of Hale Street and Butler Avenue. Two homes were completely destroyed and several others damaged. One of the injured is having surgery and the other is listed in critical but stable condition. The Pennsylvania secretary of state has ordered an automatic recount in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate. Dave McCormick trails Dr. Mehmet Oz by only 902 votes. That is less than .1% of the total votes cast. Pennsylvania law calls for an automatic recount if the difference between candidates is less than .5%.
